At a recent meeting in Parliament James extended an invitation to Boris Johnson MP, Foreign Secretary to visit Southend Airport. Not only did James invite Boris to the airport, he suggested that he uses the airport for an overseas ministerial visit.

JAMES SUPPORTS COASTAL TOURISM IN PARLIAMENT

James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, recently attended a Parliamentary reception supporting coastal tourism.

The reception, hosted by the National Coastal Tourism Academy, focused on the growth of coastal tourism. During the reception a presentation was shown which provided an overview of their findings on the opportunities to tackle seasonality on the coast.

JAMES SUPPORTS CROSSRAIL PROJECT

James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, has reconfirmed his enthusiasm for the Crossrail project.

The project boasts that around 75,000 business opportunities will be created over the lifetime of the project, supporting 55,000 jobs. Currently at least 8 businesses in Rochford and Southend East have secured work because of the project. It is expected to generate at least £42 billion in economic growth.
