James visits Openreach to discuss rural broadband

James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, has visited the headquarters of Openreach to discuss issues surrounding Rural Broadband.

James, who's constituency includes very rural areas including Barling and Foulness Island said,

"In today's world access to the internet has become one of the most important concerns that constituents raise with me. We are becoming ever more connected through social media, more informed about current affairs through online news outlets, and everything becomes more convenient with online shopping. It is important that no one is left behind."

"I am pleased that 98% of the Rochford and Southend East is covered by super-fast broadband."
