JAMES ATTENDS SOUTHEND TENANTS' AND RESIDENTS' FEDERATION ANNUAL TIE - IN EVENT

James Duddridge, Member of Parliament for Rochford and Southend East, today attended the Southend Tenants’ and Residents’ Federation annual Tie-In event (Tenants Information Exchange) held at Garons Tennis and Leisure Centre.  The Southend Tenants and Residents Federation organise this annual event which enables the tenants of South Essex Homes to meet organisations and support groups across the borough, offering practical guidance and help on a variety of issues.

Amongst the various exhibitors were representatives from Southend Citizens Advice Bureau, Southend Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP), Southend Adult Voluntary Services (SAVS), Southend Library, St Luke’s Health Centre, Southend Careline and Turning Tides.

James said

“The Southend Tenants’ and Residents’ Federation have arranged a fantastic event.  There were a large number of organisations and groups that had very informative stalls and a wide range of materials available. This is a great opportunity to engage with the tenants of South Essex Homes and get out into the community.  Everyone that I spoke to thought the event was very beneficial and a huge success.”
